Our founders, Ollie and Piers, established Headline Records out of a shared discontent with the prevailing norms of the music industry and the traditional major record label model. Recognizing the challenges independent artists face in today's saturated digital landscape, where over 60,000 tracks are uploaded to Spotify daily (22 million a year), they posed a critical question: How can independent artists break through the noise and get their music heard?

 

Drawing upon Piers's extensive 20+ years of experience in the music industry and Ollie's business acumen, Headline Records Artist Label Services was launched in the summer of 2020, with the support of Headline Music Studios.

 

At Headline Records, we take pride in offering our artists tailor-made campaigns designed to elevate their profile and provide them with the support they need, all without compromising their artistic integrity. Our approach empowers artists to maintain ownership of their music while benefiting from the expertise and network of a label, but without the burdensome financial obligations typically associated with major labels.
